WILLIAM H. MOON; born in May 1840 in New York; died January 4, 1893
at his residence in Eagleville, Centre County PA while hauling wood. He served in the Civil War, details unknown.
William married EUNICE RITER, daughter of Peter and Sarah Partridge
Riter. Eunice was born on April 29, 1840 and died September 20, 1905 at the Lock Haven Hospital, Clinton County, PA. They
are both buried at Disciple’s Cemetery in Blanchard, Centre County, PA. They lived in Eagleville for a time, and had
five children:

Albert R. Moon born Dec. 29, 1869 in PA died Feb. 2, 1950 at his residence
in Blanchard, Centre Co, PA; buried at Disciple’s Cemetery in Blanchard. He never married, no children.
Estella Moon born June 6, 1880 in PA and died Sept. 29, 1956 in Center
Co at the hospital; buried at Memorial Park Centre Co, PA. Estella married Howard Cramer. He died March 21, 1932. They had
one daughter:
1. Mrs. Madalynn Shacklette
Sarah Marie Moon born 1873 in PA; she married Charles Wesley Hockman, children unknown.
John W. Moon born 1878 in PA died in 1934 and is buried at Disciple’s
Cemetery in Blanchard PA. Never married, no children.
ALANSON
WILLARD MOON, born Sept 2, 1874 in PA died May 22, 1955 at his residence 111 S. Chestnut St., Mill Hall, Clinton County, PA.
Alanson married Mabel Florence Wensel, daughter of George W. Wensel and Ellen Eliza Quigley, in December 1906. Alanson and
Mabel are buried in Disciple’s Cemetery, Blanchard PA. They had three children:

26, 1907 in PA and died March 30, 1915 in Avis, Clinton County, PA; buried at Disciple’s Cemetery at age 8.
Carrie Elizabeth Moon born August 25, 1909 in PA and died June 23, 1922
in Avis, Clinton County, PA; buried at Disciple’s Cemetery at age 13.
GEORGE WILLIAM MOON, born January 8, 1912 in Beech Creek, Clinton County, PA; and died
December 24, 1997 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, PA; buried at Disciple’s Cemetery in Blanchard, Liberty
Township PA.
